(34) 26-0082 The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Antonio De Souza Filho v. City of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 23STCV26611. (This matter arises from a November 17, 2021, vehicle versus pedestrian incident at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and De Longpre Avenue, in Los Angeles.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on February 3, 2026.)
