(58) 26-0039 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the current policy and procedures for routine communication with Council offices regarding public safety activity within their Council districts, including but not limited to school shootings, federal enforcement activity, and protests. Recommendation for Council action pursuant to Motion (Jurado - Rodriguez): INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to report on the current policy and procedures for routine communication with Council offices. The report should specify any procedures to notify Council offices regarding school shootings, federal enforcement activity requiring LAPD involvement, and protests. This report should include the timing, method, and responsible points of contact for such notifications. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the CLA has completed a financial analysis of this report.
