10.I. Resolution Celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day 2026 It is recommended that the City Council consider: 1. Adopting a Resolution proclaiming Arbor Day and authorizing staff to apply for “Tree City USA” community recognition; 2. Waiving Spirit Bus and MPK Transit Express fare for riders for one week, starting on April 20, 2026, through April 24, 2026, in celebration of Earth Day; and 3. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
