3) CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO THE CALIFORNIA JOINT POWERS INSURANCE AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS It is recommended that the City Council appoint Mayor Lopez-Viado as Director, and Mayor Pro Tem Cantos and Finance Director Karen Ogawa as alternates to represent the City on the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority (CJPIA) Board of Directors and direct staff to execute and submit the Certification of Director and Alternate(s) to CJPIA.
