Public Hearing to consider amendments to the Encinitas Municipal Code and Local Coastal Program pertaining to Program 2G of the City’s Certified Housing Element and for compliance with State law adopted in 1994 (California Government Code Section 65852.3). Environmental Considerations: The action before the City Council is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). This exemption applies because it can be determined with certainty that adoption of the proposed amendments will not result in a significant effect on the environment.
