(34) 26-0002-S15 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position on Assembly Bill (AB) 1954 (Ward), to require authorization to list, advertise, promote, or sell local public agency golf course reservations. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Rodriguez - McOsker), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2025-26 State Legislative Program SUPPORT for AB 1954 (Ward), which would prohibit an operator of a third-party golf reservation service platform from listing, advertising, promoting, or selling reservations for a golf course owned by a local public agency without a written authorization from the golf course operator. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
