32. CONSIDER AN AWARD OF A PUBLIC WORKS AGREEMENT TO CROSSTOWN ELECTRICAL AND DATA, INC. FOR PROJECT NO. 1784: TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION (CENTRAL AVENUE & UNIVERSITY DRIVE) (CITY COUNCIL) RECOMMENDED ACTION — 1. AWARD a Public Works Agreement for Project No. 1784: Traffic Signal Modification (Central Avenue & University Drive) in the amount of $667,241.00 to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. (Exhibit No. 3); and, — 2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute a Public Works Agreement following approval as to form by the City Attorney; and, — 3. AUTHORIZE a 10% construction contingency of $66,724.10 to address any unforeseen construction conditions that may arise.
