8.d APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION 69 RESOLUTION NOS. 2026-058, 2026-059, & 2026-060 TO COMMENCE THE ELECTION PROCESS. (0430-40) That the City Council adopts the following resolutions: 1. Resolution No. 2026-058 calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the election of certain officers as required by the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities; 2. Resolution No. 2026-059 requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego to consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with the Statewide General Election to be held on the same date pursuant to §10403 of the Elections Code; and 3. Resolution No. 2026-060 adopting regulations for candidates for elective office pertaining to candidates statements submitted to the voters at an election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
