G. PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF BLADE SIGNS FOR THE LAS TUNAS DRIVE STREETSCAPE PROJECT The City Council is requested to authorize the City manager to execute a contract for the purchase and installation of blade signs for participating businesses in the Las Tunas Drive Streetscape Project. Recommendation: 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract and/or purchase order with ASI Sign Systems, Inc. (ASI), through the State of California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) Program, for the purchase and installation of blade signs for participating businesses in the Las Tunas Drive Streetscape Project, in an amount not to exceed $33,912.05, which includes a 10 percent contingency for unforeseen issues; 2. Authorize the City Manager to approve related non-substantive changes and execute any documents necessary to implement the purchase and installation; and 3. Waive fees related to building plan check, building permit, and encroachment permits. Attachment: Staff Report
