(45) 26-1121 CD 8 CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (HARRIS-DAWSON - JURADO) relative to requesting the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to investigate and report on the 2026 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count discrepancies in both the sheltered and unsheltered data for Council District (CD) 8; and related matters. Recommendation for Council action: REQUEST the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to: a. Conduct a formal investigation into both the sheltered and unsheltered data in CD 8. b. Provide a report explaining how these errors occurred and what corrective measures will be implemented for future counts. c. As necessary, issue a formal update to any PIT Count findings to ensure the public record accurately reflects the state of homelessness in CD 8 and the City.
