H. AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE HSIP CYCLE 12 CITYWIDE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT The City Council is requested to approve the issuance of a Request for Proposal for professional design services for the HSIP Cycle 12 Citywide Traffic Signal Safety Improvement Project. Recommendation: 1. Authorize staff to advertise and solicit proposals for Professional Design Services for the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 Citywide Traffic Signal Safety Improvements Project; and 2. Authorize the City Manager to take all actions necessary to administer the Request for Proposals process and return to the City Council with a recommended consultant and Professional Services Agreement for award.
