(79) 26-1307 The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Silvia Tarliza Montufar Reyes, et al. v. Department of Public Works, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 23STCV13437. (This matter arises from a two-vehicle collision that occurred on July 19, 2022, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, in Los Angeles.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on September 15, 2026.)
