(44) 25-0002-S127 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City's position on legislative and/or executive action that provides assistance and resources for the remediation of the June 2026 fire at the Lineage Logistics cold storage facility. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Jurado - Padilla), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2025-26 Federal and State Legislative Programs SUPPORT for legislative or executive action by the Federal Government, the State of California and the County of Los Angeles that would provide immediate emergency assistance, funding, regulatory relief, and resources for the cleanup, remediation, and recovery efforts related to the June 2026 fire at the Lineage Logistics cold storage facility located at 1400 South Los Palos Street in Boyle Heights. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
