The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal
counsel relative to the case entitled Dymo Corporation dba
Posers/Yaffa Sakhai adv. City of Los Angeles, Claim Nos. C26-13815,
C26-13816, C26-13817, and C26-13818. (This matter arises from a
property damage to Claimant's multiple leaseholds located at 7407,
7415, 7417 and 7419 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, which resulted
from storm drain flooding issues. )
(The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter
in Open Session on September 15, 2026.)

CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE SECTION 1094.5 - If a Council action is subject to judicial challenge pursuant to Code of Civil
Procedure Section 1094.5, be advised that the time to file a lawsuit challenging a final action by the City Council is limited by Code
of Civil Procedure Section 1094.6 which provides that the lawsuit must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which
the Council's action becomes final.
