(42) 25-0002-S114 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City's position on Assembly Bills (AB) 1662 (Wilson), AB 1685 (Lackey), and AB 1687 (Lackey), which would together amend the California Vehicle Code as it pertains to the consequences associated with traffic violations and impaired driving. Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Resolution (Lee - Rodriguez), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: INSTRUCT the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA) to prepare a revised resolution for Council in support of AB 1685 (Lackey) and AB 1687 (Lackey) inasmuch as AB 1662 has been held in the State legislature. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
