(69) 25-0002-S136 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (NAZARIAN - JURADO) relative to establishing the City's position on legislation or administrative actions that would prevent the spread of aquatic invasive mussels in California reservoirs. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Nazarian - Jurado), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2025-26 State and Federal Legislative Program SUPPORT for legislation or administrative actions that would mandate inspections and decontamination of all watercraft before launch in waters of California to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive mussels, and support allocating funding to enforcement of such legislation to protect waterbodies and water infrastructure systems in the state. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
