(8) 26-1201 CD8 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to developing the center medians along Broadway between 93rd Street and 112th Street as green and recreational spaces. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Harris- Dawson - Jurado): 1. INSTRUCT the Bureau of Street Services (BSS), with the assistance of the Bureau of Engineering and any other necessary departments, and REQUEST the Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) to report with recommendations to develop the center medians along Broadway between 93rd Street and 112th Street as green and recreational spaces with benches, workout equipment, and a walking path to be managed and maintained by RAP. 2. INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer (CAO), with the assistance of the BSS, RAP, and any other necessary departments, to report with recommendations to fund the green and recreational improvements in the center medians along Broadway between 93rd Street and 112th Street. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
