(70) 25-0002-S135 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (NAZARIAN - PADILLA) relative to establishing the City's position on Senate Bill (SB) 1330 (Arreguin), which would address escalating threats and violent incidents against public utility workers performing essential infrastructure work. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Nazarian - Padilla), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2025-26 State and Federal Legislative Program SUPPORT for California SB 1330, which places utility workers in the same class as other protected public service professionals and officials, ensuring they receive the same level of security under the law. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
