31. Acquisition of Eight Type III Pumper Apparatus Recommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire Protection District (District), approve the District’s request to authorize the Internal Services Department (ISD), as the County’s Purchasing Agent, to proceed with the acquisition of capital asset items in excess of $250,000, which consists of eight Type III Pumpers for a total cost not to exceed $5,049,000, including sales tax. Approve the District's request and authorize ISD to accept the Proposal for Furnishing Fire Apparatus. Find that these purchases are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
