68. Settlement of the Matter Entitled, Joanne Capitano v. Thien Huong Nguyen, et al. Los Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Joanne Capitano v. Thien Huong Nguyen, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 23AHCV00720, in the amount of $1,150,000; and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the Department of Public Works' budget. This lawsuit arises from alleged injuries Plaintiff sustained in an automobile collision involving a Department of Public Works employee. (26-5207)
