(25) 26-1360 The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled entitled Mina Shiek v. County of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 23VECV03776. (This matter arises from an April 19, 2022, trip and fall incident on the sidewalk located at 6426 Mammoth Avenue, in Van Nuys, California.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on October 6, 2026.)
