(8) 23-0957-S1 CD 15 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND JOBS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to establishing the Pacific Avenue / 22nd Street Corridor Jobs and Economic Development Incentive (JEDI) Zones in Council District 15. Recommendation for Council action: APPROVE the establishment of the New Pacific Boulevard JEDI Zone area on Pacific Boulevard between the 110 Freeway to the North and 22nd St to the South. The area qualifies as a JEDI Zone, per the JEDI Establishment Policy adopted on March 6, 2020, and revised on November 2, 2021(Council file No. 13-0934-S2). Funds from the previously identified JEDI Zone designation will be budgeted to execute the program in the extended area. Fiscal Impact Statement: Community Investment Department (CID) reports that no fiscal impact was identified.
