(12) 26-0008-S18 CD 2 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to prohibiting the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over 84 inches in height, during the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am along certain street segments, pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) Section 80.69.4, in Council District Two. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Nazarian - Rodriguez): 1. PROHIBIT, pursuant to LAMC Section 80.69.4, the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over 84 inches in height, during the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am along the following street segments: a. Both sides of Vantage Avenue between Roscoe Boulevard and Stagg Street b. Both sides of Vineland Avenue between Bluffside Drive to Acama Street c. Both sides of Ethel Avenue between Raymer Street and Sherman Way d. Both sides of Gilmore Street between Wilkinson Avenue and Rhodes Avenue e. Both sides of Rhodes Avenue between Kittridge Street and Gilmore Street f. Both sides of Camellia Avenue between Vanowen Street and Archwood Street g. Both sides of Vineland Avenue between Chandler Boulevard and Burbank Boulevard h. Both sides of Craner Avenue between Oxnard Street and Califa Street i. Both sides of Cleon Avenue between Oxnard Street and Califa Street j. Both sides of Califa Street between Craner Avenue and Cleon Avenue 2. DIRECT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), upon the adoption of this Resolution, to post signs giving notice of a “tow away, no parking” restriction for oversized vehicles, with the specific hours detailed, at the above locations. 3. AUTHORIZE the LADOT to make technical corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Resolution. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
