(18) 26-1449 The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Rikki Melissa Maldonado v. City of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 24LBCV01752 (This matter arises from an August 18, 2022, incident involving a trip and fall incident that occurred at 533 West MacArthur Avenue, San Pedro.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on October 20, 2026.)
