Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, LADOT, or designee, to apply for and accept funds in the amount of $922,191, or the final amount as determined by the State Controller’s Office, for the SGR Program on behalf of the City of Los Angeles (City) for bus electrification at the Sylmar Bus Maintenance Yard. 2. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying RESOLUTION, as required by Caltrans, to authorize the execution of the certifications and assurances for the SGR Program project Electrical Infrastructure for Bus Charging at Sylmar Bus Maintenance Yard (SGR Project ID 2021-5006-005). Fiscal Impact Statement: The LADOT reports that there is no impact to the City of Los Angeles General Fund since the grant does not require a local match. The LADOT will rely on Proposition A currently budgeted for this purpose as front funding to be reimbursed by the FY 2026-27 SGR funds.
