(17) 26-1437 The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Barbara Berkowitz v. City of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 22STCV16564. (This matter arises from a trip and fall incident on May 21, 2020, on the sidewalk located at 8636 Olympic Boulevard, in the City of Los Angeles.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on October 20, 2026.)
