4. Hilda L. Solis Aquatic Center Approve Project Budget For New Perimeter Fence Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Suspend Section 22.1 of the Rules of the Board for the limited purpose of considering this motion. Find that the actions herein are within the scope of the approved project analyzed in the previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Hilda L. Solis Aquatic Center Project, Capital Project No. 69909 (Project) and that there are no changes to the Project or to the circumstances under which the Project is undertaken that require further review under the California Environmental Quality Act. Further, find that the previously adopted Mitigated Monitoring and Reporting Program will continue to ensure that all impacts remain less than significant. Adopt a revised Project budget of $36,560,000 that reflects an increase of $600,000 from the previous Board-approved amount of $35,960,000, for the Project, funded with proceeds from the Climate Equity Action Fund. Approve and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute a contract amendment with Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC, for an amount not-to-exceed $400,000 to design and build the new perimeter fence at the Hilda L. Solis Aquatic Center. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20137, this action requires approval by a four-fifths vote of the Board. 4-VOTES (26-6556)
