12. APPROVE THE USE OF ASSET FORFEITURE FUNDS TO PURCHASE A POLICE DEPARTMENT MOTORCYCLE, EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING SERVICES RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the use of $49,954 in Asset Forfeiture funds for costs associated with the purchase of a police motorcycle and related equipment and; 2. Approve the use of $30,000 in Asset Forfeiture funds for costs associated with training for Leadership, Administrative and Special Response Team and; 3. Amend the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget by increasing appropriations by $79,954 in the Asset Forfeiture Fund, Account No.'s 230-99-847-6082 ($45,007), 230-99-847-6000.40 ($4,946), and 230-99-847-6014 ($30,000) (Asset Forfeiture, Justice Department, Vehicle Purchase, Supplies-Durable, and Training) and; 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
