6. AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH BELTMANN GROUP INCORPORATED DBA:\nBELTMANN RELOCATION GROUP TO PROVIDE RELOCATION SERVICES OF CENTRAL LIBRARY\nCOLLECTION FOR AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $155,144 (Library Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action is not a project subject to the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Section 21065 of CEQA and Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3), and 15378 of the State\nCEQA Guidelines\nand, as such, no environmental document pursuant to CEQA is required; and\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to enter into a contract with Beltmann Group Incorporated dba: Beltmann\nRelocation Group (“BRG”) for an amount not-to-exceed $155,144 which includes a base contract amount of\n$141,040 and a\ncontingency of $14,104, pursuant to the competitive selection process specified in Section 4.08.047 of the\nPasadena Municipal Code, for relocation services. Competitive bidding is not required pursuant to City Charter\nArticle X\nSection 1002(F), Contracts for professional or unique services.
