FINANCE COMMITTEE: DIRECT THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN ORDINANCE WITHIN 60-\nDAYS AMENDING PASADENA MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 4.08 TO INCREASE FORMAL AND INFORMAL\nPROCUREMENT LIMITS, AND RELATED CLEAN-UP CHANGES (Finance Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the action proposed in the agenda report herein is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines per Section 15061(b)(3)(Common Sense Exemption);\nand\n(2) Direct the City Attorney to prepare and return with an ordinance within 60 days that (a) sets the formal\nand informal procurement limits; and (b) updates and/or clarifies the Purchasing Ordinance as further described\nin this\nAgenda Report.
