FINANCE COMMITTEE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PASADENA TO ENTER\nINTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES, RECOGNIZE\nREVENUE AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS OF $3,000,000 TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024 CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET, TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE ROSE BOWL OPERATING\nCOMPANY, FOR\nTHE GAS AND WATER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (Finance Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the action proposed herein are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(“CEQA”) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3)(Common Sense Exemption);\n(2) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City of Pasadena to enter into an agreement with the California\nDepartment of Water Resources Board (CDWR) to receive funds for Rose Bowl Gas and Water Infrastructure\nImprovements;\n(3) Authorize the City Manager to execute and the City Clerk to attest the funding agreement, and all other\ndocuments deemed necessary by the CDWR related to funding the Gas and Water Infrastructure Improvements\nProject;\nand\n(4) Amend the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Capital Improvement Program Budget by recognizing revenue and\nappropriating $3,000,000 to the Rose Bowl Major Improvement Project (FY 2020-2024) specifically for the Gas\nand Water\nInfrastructure Improvements.\nRESOLUTION
