Item 337: Authorization of the Retention of Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP as Outside\nCounsel for Legal Matters Related to the City’s Water Utility Fund.\nThis item will be considered in the afternoon session which is scheduled to begin at\n2:00 p.m.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nCompensation for as-needed services will not exceed $840,000. The City will pay\nHawkins a flat fee out of bond proceeds for work on Bond Transactions upon each\nsuccessful closing, and negotiated hourly rates of the Water Utility Fund for all other\nservices (i.e., Commercial Paper, Loans or General Matters).
