55. As-Needed On-site Veterinarian Services Master Agreements\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Animal Care and\nControl to execute Master Agreements, as contractors become qualified through\nthe Request for Statement of Qualifications for as-needed on-site veterinarian\nservices, for services including high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries,\noverseeing perioperative care, diagnosing and treating medical conditions of\nanimals, vaccinating and providing emergency treatment to animals, and other\nwork as required, for an initial term of three years, with two one-year option\nperiods, for a potential total term of up to five years, with work assigned on an\nas-needed and intermittent basis, with an annual aggregate amount for the\nDepartment not to exceed $150,000 up to a maximum amount over the potential\ntotal term of $750,000; increase the total annual amount, currently set at\n$150,000 per year, by an additional 10% for each successive year; and\nexercise the two one-year renewal options and execute amendments to the\nterms and conditions necessary to meet the Department's needs.
