Implementing Proposition 1 in Los Angeles County\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Instruct the Director of\nMental Health, in collaboration with the Director of Public Health, through its\nSubstance Abuse Prevention and Control Program, to provide a verbal report at\nthe September 17, 2024 Policy Presentations and Public Hearing Board\nMeeting, on the progress of implementing the requirements under Proposition 1,\nwith the report to include, but not be limited to, plans to apply to use the bond\nfunds to build more of the most-needed types of treatment facilities across the\nCounty, plans to use Behavioral Health Services Act funds to provide housing\nas required by the new guidelines, staffing or budgetary changes required to\nimplement these changes, and any other relevant planning updates.
