Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations and the Los\nAngeles County Office of Education Memorandum of Understanding\nInterim Executive Officer of the Board’s recommendation: Approve and\nauthorize the Interim Executive Officer of the Board to execute a Memorandum\nof Understanding (MOU) between the Los Angeles County Commission on\nHuman Relations (HRC) and the Los Angeles County Office of Education, to\nprovide coordination and fiscal support to further HRC’s LA vs Hate\nSchool-Based Bias-Motivated Violence Prevention Program Development and\nSocial Justice Services Project, effective upon execution for a term of two\nyears, with four optional six-month extension options periods; execute\namendments to the MOU, as necessary, to adjust activities completed or\nexecute the four six-month extension options if funding is available; execute\namendments to adjust the total amount of the MOU, based on available funding,\nwhich may increase or decrease; and update the terms and conditions, and\nterminate the MOU for convenience, if necessary.
