3-D. CONTINUE TO EXTEND THE EXISTENCE OF AN EMPLOYMENT EMERGENCY FOR THE\nCITY OF MONTEREY PARK\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Receiving and filing this report;\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to execute Task Order No. 3 with Operational Technical\nServices to augment Water Division staff needs, not to exceed $285,000;\n(3) Continuing to extend the existence of an employment emergency for the City of Monterey\nPark and authorizing the City Manager to take all practical actions needed to implement\nthe efficient recruitment and retention of persons for employment; and\n(4) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
