5. Outstanding Older American - Edward Padgett The Senior Advisory Committee (SAC) has\nnominated one senior citizen for the Older American Recognition Award. This recognition is part of\nthe Los Angeles County Commission for Older Adults (LACCOA) 59th Annual Older Americans\nRecognition Day (OARD) Awards Program, which honors a senior citizen from each city in Los\nAngeles County. The Senior Advisory Committee nominated Edward Padgett as the City’s\nOutstanding Older American as he exemplifies the true spirit of this year's theme ‘Powered by\nConnection’. Mr. Padgett resides in La Verne and has dedicated countless hours of service to the\ncommunity.
