2.M. CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH GENTRY GENERAL\nENGINEERING, INC. FOR CIP 2401, CONCRETE REPAIR PROGRAM\nPHASE XIII – CDBG PROJECT NO. 602618-23 [S. CAMPBELL, J.\nGILMOUR, P. TICUN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of a Construction\nAgreement with Gentry General Engineering, Inc to construct CIP No.\n2401, Concrete Repair Program Phase XIII – CDBG Project No. 602618-\n23. Pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA – Public Resources Code, Section 21084 et. Seq.), CIP No. 2401,\nConcrete Repair Program Phase XIII – CDBG Project No. 602618-23,\nmeets the requirements for a categorical exemption in compliance with\nArticle 19, Section 15301, (Class 1 – Existing Facilities).\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a construction contract with Gentry\nGeneral Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $264,473.00 for the\nconstruction of CIP No. 2401, Concrete Repair Program Phase XIII –\nCDBG Project No. 602618-23, and authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to execute the documents incident to the Agreement; 2)\nAuthorize the City Engineer to approve change orders to the Agreement in\nthe amount not to exceed 10%, ($26,447.30), of the total Agreement\namount; 3) Adopt Resolution No. 24-________: “A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING\nTHE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2401,\nCONCRETE REPAIR PROGRAM PHASE XIII – CDBG PROJECT NO.\n602618-23, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6;”\nand 4) Make a finding that pursuant to the provisions of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA – Public Resources Code, Section\n21084 et. Seq.), CIP No. 2401, Concrete Repair Program Phase XIII –\nCDBG Project No. 602618-23, meets the requirements for a categorical\nexemption in compliance with Article 19, Section 15301, (Class 1 –\nExisting Facilities).
