7. Second Reading of an Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Code and Certified\nLocal Coastal Program to Increase Density in the Central Commercial and\nPublic Facilities Zones to Implement Housing Element Programs 1C and\n1H\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council adopt the\nOrdinance (Attachment A) to amend the Del Mar Municipal Code (DMMC) Central\nCommercial (CC) Zone regulations in Chapter 30.22 and Public Facilities (PF)\nZone regulations in Chapter 30.31 in the City’s Zoning Code and certified Local\nCoastal Program (LCP) by Zone Code Amendments (ZA24-001/ZA24-002) and\nLCP Amendments (LCPA24-001/LCPA24-002) in compliance with the City’s\ncertified 6th Cycle Housing Element (2021-2029) to increase the local housing\nstock capacity as required per California Government Code Section 65863 and\nHousing Element Program 1C (CC Zone) and Program 1H (PF Zone).\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 304-7, 401-4, 401-9
