Award of Construction Contract to Prestige Paving Company, Inc. for the\n20th Street Lifeguard Tower Driveway Project\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council: 1) Award a\n$93,750 construction contract to Prestige Paving Company, Inc. (Attachment A)\nfor the 20th Street Lifeguard Tower Driveway Project; 2) Award a $14,875 Task\nOrder to Dudek for Construction Management and Inspection Services\n(Attachment B); 3) Approve a 10% project contingency of $9,375; 4) Authorize the\nCity Manager to execute the required documents and any contract changes\nnecessary to complete the work; and 5) Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-2024\nOperating and Capital Budget as described in the Fiscal Impact Section of this\nreport.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 103-6, 406-1
