Appeal of the Planning Commission’s Decision upholding the Community Development\nDirector’s Interpretation of Section 20.80 of the Cudahy Municipal Code Relating to the\nContinuation of Legal Nonconforming Uses and Subsequent Denial of a Zoning Clearance to Allow\na Vehicle Towing/Storage Facility at 7822 Salt Lake Avenue, in Low Density Residential (LDR)\nZone (page 75)\nPresented by the Community Development Director\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Open the public hearing and receive testimony; and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 24-08 of the City Council of the City of Cudahy,\nCalifornia, upholding the Planning Commission’s decision upholding\nthe Director’s interpretation of CMC Section 20.80 and subsequent\ndenial of a Zoning Clearance; and\n3. Find this action exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15270 (projects\nwhich are disapproved).
