15. BID & PURCHASE - CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH AUGUSTINE GENERAL\nENGINEERING, INC., FOR WATERLINE REPLACEMENT ON LIBERTY AVENUE IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $1,608,437\nThat the City Council:\na. Adopt Plans and Specifications for the Liberty Avenue Waterline Replacement\nProject, Drawing No. 23-040U, Notice Inviting Bids 24-044CA.\nAgenda\nb. Award Notice Inviting Bids 24-044CA to Augustine General Engineering, Inc.,\nthe lowest responsive, responsible bidder, for the total bid amount of\n$1,608,437, and waive all minor irregularities in the bidding documents as\nsubmitted by said bidder.\nc. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Construction\nContract with Augustine General Engineering, Inc., in the amount of\n$1,608,437, including any non-substantive extensions, change orders, purchase\norders, and amendments up 10% or $160,843.70.\nd. Authorize an appropriation in the amount of $258,540 from the Water Utility\nFund 570 to the Liberty Avenue Waterline Replacement Capital Improvement\nProject No. UT-2023-05.\nThat the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct\nthat the City Council take the above actions.
