PUBLIC HEARING - GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 2023-0005 TO THE LAND USE\nELEMENT AND HOUSING ELEMENT TO UPDATE THE CITY’S HOUSING SITES\nINVENTORY FOR PLANNING PERIOD 2021-2029 (APPLICANT: CITY OF CORONA)\nThat the City Council:\na. Approve GPA2023-0005 as recommended by the Planning and Housing\nCommission, based on the analysis and findings contained in the staff report;\nand the Addendum to the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the\nCorona Housing Element Rezoning Program certified on March 1, 2023.\nb. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-011 adopting an addendum to the Supplemental\nEnvironmental Impact Report for the City of Corona General Plan Housing\nElement Rezoning Program Update Project and approving an amendment to the\nLand Use Element and Housing Element of the City’s General Plan to change the\nland use designation on various properties to allow certain residential land uses\nconsistent with the Housing Element Sites Inventory and implement\ncorresponding changes to associated text within the General Plan as part of Cycle\n2 of General Plan Amendments for calendar year 2024 (GPA2023-0005).
