United States Department of Health and Human Services Grant Award\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District, authorize the Fire Chief to accept grant award funds\nfrom the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health\nResources and Services Administration, in the amount of $201,834, to\nprocure three automated chest compression devices (ACCDs) and two\nadvanced cardiac monitor/defibrillator devices, to sustain life saving\nservices for the community of Pomona; approve an appropriation\nadjustment in the amount of $202,000 to increase the revenue and Capital\nAssets - Equipment appropriation in the Executive Budget Unit; authorize\nthe Fire Chief to execute the grant award agreement and all future\namendments, extensions, augmentations, and requests for reimbursement\nto meet the conditions of the grant award; and find that the acceptance of\nthe award is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
