Annexation and Levying of Assessments for County Lighting Districts\nin the Unincorporated Area of Hacienda Heights\nRecommendation: Adopt a resolution of intention to Annex Approved\nTentative Subdivision Territory to County Lighting Maintenance District\n1687 and County Lighting District Landscaping and Lighting Act-1 (CLD\nLLA-1), Unincorporated Zone, located in the unincorporated area of\nHacienda Heights (1), and order the levying of assessments within the\nannexed territory for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26; advertise and set June 11,\n2024 at 9:30 a.m. for a public hearing regarding the proposed annexation of\nterritory and levying of annual assessments based on the FY 2023-24\nAnnual Engineer's Report, which establishes assessments based on land\nuse type for all zones within CLD LLA-1 for street lighting purposes with an\nannual base assessment rate of $5 for single-family residences in the\nUnincorporated Zone; and find that the proposed project is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
