Employ a Retired County Employee on a Temporary Basis\nRecommendation: Reemploy retired County employee, Matthew McGloin,\nas a 120-day temporary employee in the Chief Executive Office, to maintain\ncontinuity in the management of critical functions, and who is uniquely\nqualified to perform these critical duties on a temporary basis, and grant an\nexception to the 180-day waiting period required under the California Public\nEmployees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013; and approve the Chief Executive\nOfficer’s request to allow Mr. McGloin to return as a Senior Assistant Chief\nExecutive Officer, at a rate of $178.08 per hour for up to 960 total hours per\nfiscal year.
