20. Blanchard and Cogen Landfills Gas Extraction System Maintenance,\nMonitoring, and Reporting Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to\nexecute a contract with Tetra Tech BAS, Inc., for the provision of Blanchard\nand Cogen Landfills Gas Extraction System maintenance, monitoring, and\nreporting services, located at the Eastern Avenue Hill Complex in Los\nAngeles (1), on behalf of the County, for a contract amount not to exceed\n$1,000,000, commencing upon execution by the County, with an initial three\nyear term and two one-year extension options, for a total maximum contract\nterm of five years, with sufficient funding in the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Capital\nProjects/ Refurbishments budget; find that the proposed actions are exempt\nfrom the California Environmental Quality Act; and authorize the Chief\nExecutive Officer to take the following actions:\nSupplement the initial not to exceed contract amount by up to 25% of\nthe original contract amount based on workload requirements;\nExercise the extension options based upon project demands and\nlevel of satisfaction with services provided; and\nAuthorize additional services and extend the contract expiration date\nas necessary to complete those additional services when those\nadditional services are previously unforeseen, related to a previously\nassigned scope of work on a given project, and are necessary for the\ncompletion of that given project, and suspend and/or terminate the\ncontract for convenience, if it is in the best interest of the County.\n(24-1378)
