County of Los\nAngeles, et al.\nLos Angeles County Contract Cities Liability Trust Fund Claims Board's\nrecommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Antonio\nRodriguez v. County of Los Angeles, et al., United States District Court\nCase No. 2:21-CV-06574 in the amount of $800,000 and instruct the\nAuditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the\nSheriff's Department Contract Cities Trust Fund's budget.\nThis lawsuit concerns allegations of Plaintiff's detention civil rights\nviolations, excessive force, and accidental shooting by a Sheriff's Deputy.\n(24-1413)
