5.G. Approval to Accept U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and\nConservation Block Grant\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section\n15061(b)(3) (Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Accept a grant awarded in the amount of $157,730 from the U.S. Department\nof Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)\nProgram to fund an income-qualified electric bicycle (e-bike) voucher program\nin the Public Works Department, and to accept all grant renewals;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the\ngrant and all grant renewals; and\n4. Authorize budget amendment as outlined in the Financial Impacts & Budget\nActions section of this report (requires 5 votes).
