MOLINA, M.\nWATSON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a resolution in support\nof the Justice for Renters Act, a ballot initiative that will appear on the\nNovember 5, 2024, General Election ballot.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution 24-_________: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD IN SUPPORT OF THE JUSTICE FOR RENTERS ACT, A\nBALLOT INITIATIVE”; and 2) Direct staff to send copies of the adopted\nresolution to California Governor Gavin Newsom, California State Senator\nBen Allen, California Assembly Member Rick Chavez Zbur, and others as\ndeemed appropriate.
